Chronic Pain & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Chronic pain is defined as pain lasting longer than three months. If you’ve ever stubbed a toe, twisted an ankle, broken a bone, or had a headache, you know that pain is not something you want very much of. So by the third month of dealing with pain, are you ready to take matters into your own hands? What if your pain has hung around for years? Had enough to put your money where you pain is?

Much of the management of chronic pain and chronic fatigue is based on medications. However, medication is not always helpful and often cannot be taken indefinitely. There is also the chance that the side effects of the medications are as bad (or worse) than the pain itself. And they may leave you feeling wrung out, disoriented, and not able to participate in life.

Reiki, especially when combined with other complementary modalities, can help you regain some control over your pain and your life. While there are no magic pills or gold-leafed  promises, there is hope and hopefulness. You can be a part of life again, rather than just watching it all pass you by.

Take an affirmative action. Start getting Reiki regularly and empower yourself. It’s the first step to putting pain back in its place!

“I brought my wife for Reiki after her stroke. She was usually pretty painful, irritable, and easily agitated. After Reiki, she was calm and slept through the night like an angel. I am so grateful for Reiki and Shawn.”    e.d.
