Much of the management of chronic pain is based on medications. However, medication is not always helpful and often cannot be taken indefinitely. There is also the chance that the side effects of the medications are as bad (or worse) than the pain itself. And they may leave you feeling wrung out, disoriented, and not able to participate in life.
Hypnosis, especially when combined with other complementary modalities, can help you regain some control over your pain and your life.
