Trauma Re-Frame
Our body believes what we tell it and will do whatever it can to “prove” our mind correct. If you have suffered a trauma, your mind most likely keeps replaying the incident over and over to your body. Eventually, you may find that your body responds by manifesting undesirable effects or symptoms.
Guided imagery, in conjunction with hypnosis, may help to re-frame the trauma; in essence, have the mind tell the body a new story. This does not change the event, but it changes the way the body “hears” about it and reacts to it.
